Shavit Vos is 47 years old. Mum to 3 boys. Born in Kibbutz Zikim.
Today lives in the City of Ramat Gan, Israel.
Shavit comes from an artistic and creative family; her mother is a quilt artist, and her sisters are ceramics and sculptural artists. In her youth, she remembers her dad engaged in film & photo slide photography.
Shavit has always been drawn to art; In 2018, after a significant change in her life, Shavit began to study photography, learning and exploring various photography categories & techniques: Nature & landscape, street, dancers, fashion & beauty, studio and lighting, night and stars photography, macro, infrared photography, ICM & underwater photography.
In 2020 Shavit bought her first professional Sony camera. Since then, her love and passion for photography have continued to grow; she is persistent in studying various photography technics in different frameworks, including self-learning. Shavit photography has being exhibited worldwide, in galleries in the USA, Greece, Vietnam, France, England, Germany & Israel.
“Photography, for me, is a way of capturing unique moments in time that will never repeat. It is the greatest reward when a viewer connects with an image emotionally. My work, whether it be portraits, landscapes, animals, or still life, is most successful when it speaks to celebrating the richness of life.
I create images to make emotional clay impressions of the things I see and use different techniques to generate my images: such as light and shadows, guiding lines, movement, texture, colors, form & shape.”
